I have recently been diagnosed with AIH and have lots of concerns about the many possible adverse side affects listed in paperwork sent me by the specialist (gastroenterology department) Carlisle. All advice states, call my doctor, talk to your doctor/GP. This is not a complaint but the last 3 surgery GPs I spoke with all said its not my area of expertise of we are only General practitioners and to discuss concerns with the specialist. If I do have any reactions to the medication how can I contact a specialist when it takes months to get an appointment via my GP.

Pleasant staff, very helpful and understanding. Lovely doctor and very good at explaining things.
